What I Do on the Odd Rainy Day

In my city, it is almost always warm and sunny. We very seldom have rain and cold. Those rainy days are my favorite.

On a rainy day, I like to watch a movie and bake fresh cookies. Baking is fun and makes the house smell nice. My favorite cookies are chocolate chip. I mix the ingredients, shape the cookies, and bake them in the oven. The cookies are warm and delicious.

My family loves to make cinnamon pancakes. Usually, my dad is the one who makes them. We eat them with syrup and sometimes add some fruit. The pancakes are sweet and tasty.

If there isn't a nice movie that I want to watch, I read a book. I have a big collection of books. I always have many books that I want to read, but I don't always get the time. Rainy days are perfect for reading. I sit in a cozy chair with a warm blanket and a cup of tea. Reading a good story makes me happy.

My family and I also like to play board games on rainy days. We laugh and have fun together. Sometimes, we tell stories or watch old family videos.
