Hi! I'm Miss Kay.
I’m an online English teacher with over four years of experience working with international students from all over the world.

I’m originally from South Africa and have spent much of my recent time sailing and travelling through the Caribbean. Teaching online has allowed me to connect with students globally while living a life shaped by travel, culture, and communication.
I hold a TEFL qualification and taught English on Preply for several years, where I worked closely with learners at different levels and from many language backgrounds. Teaching English — and especially helping foreign students feel confident and understood — is truly my passion.

Each course on MissKay English is designed carefully and with a lot of love. I focus on natural, real-life English that you can actually use, not just grammar rules on a page.

I also love learning languages myself. I’ve studied Turkish and am currently learning Armenian, so I understand firsthand what it feels like to be a language learner — the challenges, the frustrations, and the small wins along the way.
