Trying a New Recipe

I love baking. One day, I decided to try a new recipe from my grandmother. She makes the best strawberry oat cookies. I wanted to make them too. Here is how I did it.

First, I got all the ingredients. I needed oats, flour, sugar, milk, butter, and fresh strawberries. I also needed a big bowl, a spoon, and a baking tray.

I started by washing the strawberries. Then, I cut them into small pieces. Next, I put the oats, flour, and sugar into the big bowl. I mixed them well with the spoon.

After that, I added the butter. I used my hands to mix everything together. It was fun and a little messy. Then, I poured in the milk and added the strawberry pieces. I mixed all the ingredients again until they were well combined.

Now it was time to shape the cookies. I took a small amount of the mixture and made a ball. I placed each ball on the baking tray. I made sure they were not too close to each other.

I preheated the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. When it was hot, I put the tray in the oven. I baked the cookies for 15 minutes. They smelled so good!

When the cookies were golden brown, I took them out of the oven. I let them cool for a few minutes. Then, I tried one. It was delicious!

I was so happy I tried my grandmother’s recipe. Now, I can make strawberry oat cookies anytime I want.
